Last Thursday we covered Lavender oil. This week we take a look at Lemon!
Lemon essential oil includes the naturally occurring constituent limonene. Lemon may also be used to enhance the flavor of foods as well as your water. It takes about 75 lemons to make one bottle of oil. It is also great for for cleaning! It also promotes focus as well as being energizing and uplifting. Lemon is a citrus oil and as with all citrus oils has a shelf life of about 2 years. Citrus oils are extracted differently than other oils. The oil is extracted from the rein of the fruit instead of from the plant itself.
